Teil 6: Make the right move easy

Some evenings you promise yourself, Tomorrow I’ll finally start. Tomorrow arrives… and the day floods in. Not because you’re weak, but because the setup wasn’t on your side.

We don’t need louder willpower. We need quieter help.

Think of your future self like a friend you care about. What could you lay out for them so the first step is almost automatic?

  • The document is already open with the first sentence waiting.

  • The shoes are by the door with a note: Just ten minutes.

  • A message to a buddy: “I’ll text you one line at 11:45.”

When those little helpers are in place, the day feels different. The good move only needs a gentle nudge.

Try this tonight

Before you close the laptop, set the stage for the morning: open the file you’ll use, write the first line, and send one short check-in to someone you trust. Then stop. Let this preparation work while you sleep.

Design beats discipline.

If you make the next right move easy, your day will meet you halfway.
