The start of a new year brings a sense of renewal - a chance to set intentions, create fresh opportunities, and focus on what truly matters. This January, I invite you to join me in a simple yet transformative practice: The Highlights Challenge.


The Highlights Challenge is all about shifting your focus to the good in your life. Each day, you’ll take a few minutes to reflect on and write down your daily highlights - those small moments of joy, progress, or gratitude that can easily get lost in the hustle of everyday life.

This practice isn’t about grand achievements; it’s about noticing and celebrating the little things that make your days brighter and more meaningful.


Here’s how it works:

  1. Every evening in January, set aside 2–5 minutes for reflection.

  2. Think of 3 highlights from your day - moments of joy, progress, or gratitude.

  3. Write Them Down: Use a journal, a notes app, or even a sticky note. Be specific and reflect on how these moments made you feel.


Examples:

  • "Shared a laugh with a colleague during a busy day - t reminded me of the power of connection."

  • "Finally tackled that small task I’d been procrastinating on - felt so relieved afterward."
